Reform MASIA SXVI

In this project we rehabilitated a house dating from the sixteenth century. As much as possible, we tried to modernize the spaces while respecting the identity of the building and renovating its distinctive elements: we recovered the wooden beams, reworked the original stone wall, laid handmade ceramic tile floors and installed sliding doors with forged ironwork.

The roof was recovered and rehabilitated with a lower finish in melis wood beams and battens using chestnut wood with scraper boards that were manually fired with firewood.

In the bedroom a height of over 4 meters allows you to rest under a forest of wooden beams that hundreds of years ago. We placed handmade ceramic tile floors laid herringbone, and included a dressing room and bathroom integrated with sink sink in resin. The headboard is backlit.
